In this project, an algorithm has been written with use of Mechanical APDL to eliminate the elements which carry the least loads in each optimization stage. After some killing steps, the model would get the lightest weight with the same load capacity as the whole model.
In this project, a single-point mechanism was theoretically designed and checked its functionality in MSC.ADAMS in order to damp the wind forces in several directions.
In this project, a rear twist beam axle was designed geometrically in CATIA and then was optimized for the locations of the hardpoints to have good handling performance in ADAMS/Car.
In this Project, a tracked robot was designed and analyzed in ADAMS/View without using ATV module. The robot had 1m length, 0.5m wide and six small rollers which were fixed. There were two larger pulleys at the ends which the rear one was a drive pulley.
To increase knowledge about motorway bridges' safety with regard to blast demolition, a study has been conducted on several bridges with variable distance to explosive materials.
Blast doors were extra doors that were closed next to a room's regular entrance or other closed door to provide extra reinforcements against hostile forces such as explosives, powerful blasters.
In this project a finite element analysis was performed to evaluate the following items with regard to a chimney destruction using TNT explosive materials:
In this Project, a composite material made by epoxy and reinforced with a random distribution of fibers has been modeled in LS-Dyna. The strength due to impact has been evaluated for different fiber ratio.
Small work piece was cut with cutting tool. The simulation was done using SPH technology with fine mesh property and the reaction force to the tool was measured and verified by experimental data.
