Design and simulation of a tracked robot in MSC.ADAMS/View

In this Project, a tracked robot was designed and analyzed in ADAMS/View without using ATV module. The robot had 1m length, 0.5m wide and six small rollers which were fixed. There were two larger pulleys at the ends which the rear one was a drive pulley.

 

To model the robot, firstly a simple model with one track was built then two tracks were designed for it. Abilities to climb over obstacles and to move side correctly were prominent goals in this project.

To define the parts and make contact between them, coding was employed in ADAMS/View environment.
